For a chance to win the tickets, they need to submit an essay 1, by expressing their viewpoints on whether China’s economy will overtake the USA’s within a decade.

Entries, of no more than 500 words, must be in English or Simplified Chinese, and submitted by 8 October 2012.

Submissions will be judged by a member of *The Economist*‘s editorial team.
