# Easy boarding with Passbook

When they check in via the Air France app, customers receive their boarding pass in the QR code-2D bar code format which they can add to their Passbook.

Close to departure time, a reminder is displayed on the phone?s screen: a simple ?swipe? (action of sliding your finger across the iPhone screen) will instantly open the boarding pass, which can be used with all QR code-2D bar code readers (at passport control, boarding, etc.).
