# Europe gets its first Park Hyatt resort

The first Park Hyatt resort in Europe opens – the 142-room Park Hyatt Mallorca, Spain. It also marks the first Hyatt hotel in Mallorca.  
“The opening of our first Park Hyatt European resort marks a significant milestone for Hyatt and underlines our commitment to meaningful and strategic growth in this region where we know our guests are travelling,” said Peter Fulton, group president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as Southwest Asia for Hyatt.
