# June opening for Red Planet in Sapporo

The 123-room Red Planet Sapporo Susukino South is now accepting reservations as the hotel will open on 1 June.

“The opening of the fourth Red Planet hotel in Japan solidifies Red Planet’s position as the largest and fastest growing Pan-Asian budget hotel company,” said CEO Tim Hansing. “Red Planet brings the budget hotel sector in Japan to the next level with its tech-savvy and never-ending product innovations.”

Red Planet commenced operations in Japan in 2013 with the opening of Red Planet Tokyo Asakusa and Red Planet Okinawa Naha. Red Planet Nagoya Nishiki opened in October 2017 and the group will open an additional hotel in Sapporo’s central district by mid 2019.
