# Levante Express (LEX) - Launching a New Service

**Hapag-Lloyd will launch its own Levante Express effective June 2013.**

We are pleased to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will launch its own **Levante Express (LEX),** a new complementary service, directly connecting ports in Italy, Egypt and Turkey. 

  
This fixed day weekly service will start mid of **June 2013,** covering the following port rotation:

  
**Cagliari ? Alexandria ? Damietta ? Port Said ? Mersin ? Izmir ? Cagliari ? Genoa ? Leghorn ? Naples ? Salerno ? Cagliari**
