# New niche brand for Scandic

Scandic launches a collection of what it calls ?unique signature hotels? which will be marketed under their own names with the extension ?by Scandic?. The first signature hotel will be Grand Central by Scandic in Stockholm.  
The signature hotels will be characterized by their unique history and character and designed as distinct social meeting places.
