Travel reward schemes have at least some impact on a variety of travel decisions, with 61% of those surveyed in a Harris Poll saying their memberships impact their decision on both selecting which hotel to stay at and which airline to fly with.

Nearly three-quarters (73%) of those who have a membership in a hotel programme say it impacts which hotel they choose.
