# Russia bans Turkey from hotel business

Russia will prohibit Turkish companies from construction, tourism, the hotel business and services for state and municipal needs from January 1, the Russian government said in a resolution on Wednesday.  
Russia has imposed economic sanctions against Turkey after Turkey shot down a Russian military jet near the Syrian-Turkish border on November 24.
