# Sands Macao partners with China developer to push sports events

Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao has entered into a long-term strategy partnership with Lander Real Estate, one of China?s leading property development companies, to co-develop sporting events both nationally and abroad.

?This strategic partnership will see our companies co-developing major sports offerings together, especially boxing events ? a sport that continues to become increasingly popular in China,? said Dave Horton, global chief marketing officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp and Sands China Ltd.

Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao features more than 9,000 hotel rooms.
