SWISS to serve Palermo and Thessaloniki in its 2014 summer schedules

SWISS will be offering additional seasonal services to Palermo (Sicily) and Thessaloniki in its 2014 summer schedules. Palermo will be served for the first time in the company?s history between 2 July and 31 August next year. The new seasonal destination will receive two weekly flights from Zurich ? on Wednesdays and Sundays ? operated with Airbus A320 equipment offering some 162 seats. With service already established to Catania, Palermo will be the second Sicilian destination to be served by SWISS in the peak 2014 vacation season.

In a further development, Thessaloniki ? to which service was suspended for economic reasons from the start of the 2012/13 winter schedules ? will return to the SWISS network next summer as a seasonal destination. In response to high demand, SWISS will be providing two weekly flights (on Mondays and Thursdays) to Thessaloniki between 3 July and 28 August 2014, operated with Airbus A320 equipment.
