US Airways Applauds FAA's Recommendations On Use Of Personal Electronics Below 10,000 Feet

TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — US Airways (NYSE: LCC) is working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to allow customers to use certain personal electronic devices during all phases of flight as soon as the new recommendations have been implemented.

The new policy, once implemented, will allow customers to begin using these devices in “airplane mode” during taxi, takeoff and landing on domestic flights unless instructed otherwise by a crewmember.
