# W hotel and residences for Belgrade

Starwood is scheduled to open the W Belgrade and The Residences at W Belgrade in 2019.  
The landmark W project will be located in the heart of Belgrade Waterfront, a new one million square meter project including retail outlets, restaurant and bars, offices, public parks and leisure attractions.  
Michael Wale, president, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East, said: ?The Serbian capital is an exciting emerging city and a burgeoning tourist destination in Europe. The W Belgrade will have 120 guestrooms, while Residences at W Belgrade will offer 165 apartments spanning two towers.
