Marcus? Hotels & Resorts Names Mahesh Reddy General Manager for Platinum Hotel & Spa, Las Vegas, NV
Milwaukee, Wis., October 10, 2013 Marcus? Hotels & Resorts, a division of?The Marcus Corporation?(NYSE: MCS), today announced that Mahesh Reddy has been appointed general manager of the?Platinum Hotel & Spa?in Las Vegas, Nev. Reddy previously served as the general manager of the Westin Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, which is also managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Reddy joined Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2000 as the front office director of the company?s Hilton Milwaukee property.? He was promoted to rooms division director of the Hilton Milwaukee in 2002 and transferred to the company?s Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis. in 2004.? Reddy left Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2006 to serve as the hotel manager of the Wyndham Northwest Chicago (currently Westin Chicago Northwest) in Chicago, Ill. and held subsequent general manager positions in Newark, N.J., Washington D.C. and Anchorage, Alaska.? He returned to Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2012 to serve as the general manager of the Westin Columbus.
Reddy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a master?s degree in hospitality and tourism. He received a bachelor?s degree in public administration, political science and sociology from Osmania University, India.
