Accor to acquire stylish 25hours Hotels?

Bonn, Germany – 7 November 2016
1Is Europe’s largest hotel company Accor planning a take-over of the stylish 25hours hotels? The Federal Cartel Office is verifying a share deal between both hotel chains, according to their web announcements.

25hours runs echt posh hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It has been founded by three hoteliers focusing each on strong storytelling at their destinations. The development of 25hours is well-known as perfect examples for new hotel concepts even for millennials.

Accor is trying to transform it’s business hotels into younger and trendy urban concepts. Recently they announced the launch of latest brand ‘Joe & Joe’, created by a management team of millennials. The first ‘Joe & Joe’ hotels are to open in early 2017.

With an investment or take-over of 25hours, Accor could strengthen and speed up its transformation to a collection of individual design hotels.
