Aloft Adelaide to open in 2018

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide announces plans to debut in?South Australia?with the signing of 200-room Aloft Adelaide in the state capital. The signing of Aloft Adelaide marks the brand?s third property to enter the Australian market. Slated to open in early 2018, the new-build hotel will form the centrepiece of New Mayfield, a mixed-use development set to reinvigorate inner-city?Adelaide.

The hotel will be amongst the first in the Australian market to showcase Starwood?s recently announced SPG Keyless ??a mobile, keyless entry system allowing guests to use their smart phone as a key. The technology will be available at select Aloft, Element and W Hotels worldwide by end 2015.

The signing of Aloft Adelaide follows the recent announcement of the Aloft Sydney Pitt Street, slated to open in October 2016, and last year?s announcement of the Aloft Perth Rivervale, set to open early 2017. Globally, the brand has over 100 hotels worldwide since launching in 2008.
