Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa Opens Today
Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa opens today, marking the upscale operator?s first property in Dubai.
Located on the eastern crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the resort offers beach side accommodation and is complemented by four speciality venues ? Crescendo (all-day dining), Mekong (Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese), Bushman?s Australian restaurant and bar, and Beach House (Mediterranean). The Lotus Lounge lobby bar and Mai Bar poolside bar make up the F&B offering.
Alongside 260 lagoon view and access rooms, 12 beach pool and three two-bedroom villas are 18 over water villas, believed to be the first of their kind regionally.
With its three turquoise swimming lagoons, tennis courts, gyms, kids and teen clubs and range of treatments at Anantara Spa, the resort will be predominantly targeting leisure guests although a ballroom and six meeting rooms are also available.
Online opening rates for a one-bedroom beach pool villa are priced Dhs4,140 a night, rising to Dhs5,150 for an over water villa.
While it?s no stranger to Abu Dhabi, operating Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, two resorts on Sir Bani Yas island and the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa, Anantara has been happy to bide its time in Dubai. But now it will be eager to attract guests as the tourism season gets underway, particularly from Asia.
