Benchmark Names Diana Wellman as Director of Catering & Conference Services for Eldorado Hotel & Spa

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, August 2013?… Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Diana Wellman director of catering and conference services for Eldorado Hotel & Spa. Norbert Relecker, Benchmark’s general manager for the property, a Benchmark Hotel? located in the heart of Santa Fe, made the announcement.

“I am delighted to welcome Diana to Eldorado Hotel & Spa,” said Relecker. “We’re thrilled to have her join our executive team. Her vast expertise in the hospitality industry coupled with her knowledge of and previous experience with Benchmark Hospitality make her the perfect choice to lead our catering and conference services department.”

Diana Wellman brings 29 years of revered hospitality experience to Eldorado Hotel & Spa, and has spent the last nine years as a key member of Benchmark’s global task force team. During that time, Ms. Wellman worked on various projects with a number of Benchmark’s properties, including The Chattanoogan in Tennessee, Naples Bay Resort in Florida, Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado, The Heldrich in New Jersey, Makena Beach & Golf Resort in Hawaii and Hotel Contessa in Texas. She has held similar positions with Destination Hotels & Resorts. Earlier in her career she and her husband owned and operated a dude ranch in Montana.

Ms. Wellman is a graduate of New Hampshire Technical College. She has relocated to Santa Fe with her husband.
