To boost your talent development, launch own hotel academies

1Hospitality industry need more qualified employees – Manpower shortage slows tourism development worldwide. To boost talent development, hotel groups have to launch their own academies, Mr. Michael Lidl of Treugast Solutions Group revealed.

German hotel chains like Steigenberger Hotel Group, Motel One, H-Hotels and A&O Hostels focus on own hotel management schools. For decades, Steigenberger has trained dozens of hotel executives at the company’s own academy in Bavaria.

Partnering with IUBH university, low budget hotel operator A&O launched a special degree program for hostel management. Dual education is becoming more important for young executives. Even the secrets of digitilization should be implemented in the training courses.
