Choice best for people and culture

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, one of Australasia’s largest and fastest growing hotel franchisors, won Best People & Culture at the 2016 IQPC Contact Centre Awards held recently on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Awarded to Choice Hotels Asia-Pac in recognition of its recruitment and retention programme in its contact centre and focus on customer service, teamwork and cooperation, communication and personal development.
Clare Rudland, Manager Asia-Pac Contact Centre, accepting the award on behalf of Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, said, “The team is thrilled to be recognised for the great culture and the service we deliver to our customers, partners and hotel guests. The Contact Centre Awards identify excellence in customer service and workplace culture. A key to the company’s success was partnering with JustMums, a specialised recruitment company that allowed Choice Hotels Asia-Pac to hire incredibly skilled workers for a few hours at a time. Recruiting parents returning to the workforce gives employees and Choice Hotels Asia-Pac the flexibility required to work around unique family situations and maintain a high-performing call centre.
