CSM Lodging Appoints Willy So Assistant General Manager for the Hilton Garden Inn, Portland, Oregon

Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 1, 2013 – CSM Lodging, a division of CSM Corporation, has named Willy So assistant general manager for the Hilton Garden Inn Portland, Oregon. Brandon Carter, general manager, made the announcement.

“I am so pleased to welcome Willy to the Hilton Garden Inn,” said Mr. Carter. “He brings a fresh perspective to our hotel, based on significant operational and guest services experience. He is also an excellent communicator.”

Willy So previously served in the dual roles of guest relations manager and evening manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton of Portland. He was promoted to these positions following service as front office supervisor for the hotel.

Mr. So also gained Front Office experience at the University Place Hotel and Conference Center, part of Portland State University. He began his professional career as director of communications for Associated Students of Portland Community College.

Willy So attends Portland State University, where he is earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. He is a graduate of Morrison’s Academy, United Kingdom. He resides in Portland.
