Ecole h?teli?re de Lausanne named world's no.1 hotel management school
According to a study conducted in summer 2013 by TNS Sofres among 232 managers and recruiters from the hospitality industry, Ecole h?teli?re de Lausanne remains number one in the field of hotel management schools.
Respondents were asked to choose from a list of 86 renowned schools the one they considered the best in the world. The main criteria was the hiring of young graduates for an international career in hospitality. To be part of the list, schools had to offer a cursus in English. People surveyed were hotel managers and human resources managers from 63 different countries. Ecole h?teli?re de Lausanne was praised by 67% of respondents.
Switzerland on top of the list
This survey shows that the world top three hotel management schools are Swiss: In second place, behind Ecole h?teli?re de Lausanne, is?Glion Insitute of Higher Education, followed by?Les Roches?in third place. The rankings confirm the excellence of the Swiss educational model which combines practical and academic teaching.
