Fairfield by Marriott opens in Shanghai

Shanghai – 9 January 2018 – 
Marriott International announces the opening of the 195-room Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Jing’an.

Owned and managed by New Development Group, the hotel is located in the Jing’an District of Shanghai, close to its commercial and business hub, and marks the continuous expansion and growth of the Fairfield by Marriott brand in Greater China.

“The opening of Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Jing’an is yet another significant milestone for the brand’s expansion,” said Mike Fulkerson, vice president of brand & marketing for the Asia Pacific region.

“After the brand’s debut in China earlier this year, it has been expanding its footprint in China’s fast-growing second and third-tier cities.”
