Fairmont to open in Seoul in 2020

Seoul, South Korea – 14 September 2017 –
AccorHotels announces plans to open Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in 2020.

Located in the financial district of Yeouido, the 326-room hotel is part of an integrated development comprising a retail mall and two office towers.

Patrick Basset, chief operating officer of AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, said: “AccorHotels has 30 years of experience in managing hotels in South Korea. We are very excited to announce this partnership where we can leverage on our expertise in hotel management to set a luxury footprint to introduce the Fairmont brand into the market.

“The opening of Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in 2020 will become the group’s newest landmark in South Korea.”

Fairmont currently operates 75 hotels and residences across major cities in 24 countries.
