Ginger Hotels to open 40 more hotels

1Roots Corporation, a subsidiary of the Indian Hotel Company Limited (IHCL) under its brand, Ginger Hotels is looking at franchise mode of operations to expand its hotel portfolio.

The brand which operates 30 properties across 24 cities in India, is looking at operating 40 more hotels by 2018.

?The properties that are operational in India are either Greenfield, brownfield or lease projects. We want to tap family-run businesses, participating in equity to refresh and upgrade these hotels to Ginger brand standards, thereby operate on lease or revenue-sharing model. The guest satisfaction index was increased after the programme was conducted at each hotel. We aim to offer affordable, clean and hygiene, safe, secure and easy access to reservation to our guests and look forward to expand at pilgrimage destinations including Tirupati, Katra, Shirdi and Ajmer,?
