Early in March in Hong Kong, Hard Rock International announced that it is launching an expansion into China and Asia that will increase its portfolio from five to 20 hotels in the next five years and from 38 to 53 branded cafes. Plans call for major expansion in China, but they are also tabling casino hotels in locations such as Vietnam and Japan.
