Kevin Brooke named General Manager at Cliveden in Taplow

1Kevin Brooke has been appointed as the new general manager of the Cliveden House hotel in Berkshire, UK. Brooke, who will join the management team at the five-red-AA-star, 48-bedroom hotel from 1 October 2016, was formerly general manager of the Aman Sveti Stefan in Montenegro, where he was responsible for all aspects of operation and performance of the luxury resort. Brooke will take over the role from Sue Williams, who is returning to her home county of Wiltshire after four years at Cliveden, to take up her new appointment as general manager of fellow Relais & Chateaux property Whatley Manor.

Brooke will now oversee the final phase of the hotel’s refurbishment, including the creation of a new spa. His previous experience includes management positions with the Aman Group since 2003, formerly Amanresorts International, including the Amangani Resort in the US, Amanyara Resort in the Caribbean, and the Amanwana Resort in Indonesia.
