Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay has appointed Lars Pursche as the new general manager of the luxury hotel.

Pursche’s most recent post was as general manager of Kempinski Hotel Huizhou in Southern China, Guangdong Province.
His career with Kempinski started six years ago as director of sales & marketing.
A German national and a hospitality veteran holding an MBA degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Pursche’s experience spans three continents and four different countries.
Before joining Kempinski, he held various managerial positions in the sales field with international hotel chains, like Le Méridien, Swissôtel, Hyatt, Steigenberger and Marriott.
