Duxbury, Massachusetts – 18 May 2017 –
The Winsor House Inn, the South Shore’s most notable establishment offering modern New England cuisine in an historic & idyllic setting, announced that Matthew Delisle has been named Executive Chef effective immediately.

1 Matthew Delisle

Delisle, a New Hampshire native, has spent much of his life exploring New England’s culture, cuisine, and coastline.  Delisle’s passion for nature and the sea fuels his creative curiosity in the kitchen.  He embraces the philosophy of using only the highest quality seasonal ingredients and strives for simply prepared dishes that are crafted to stimulate the palate.

Chef Delisle’s first efforts will include evolving the Winsor House Inn’s menu into the Summer season.  The menu will reflect his inspiration from New England’s coastline and his experience in cooking at some of the country’s top establishments.

Delisle, 36, joins the Winsor House Inn from L’Espalier where he led the restaurant as Chef de Cuisine since 2012.  He had previously served as Sous Chef at L’Espalier from 2010 until his promotion in 2012. Prior experience includes roles of increasing responsibility at Boston’s Mandarin Oriental, Ritz-Carlton, and Four Seasons.  In 2015, he was presented with the Rising Star award by StarChefs.
