Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona appoints Jorge Monje as general manager.

He joins the hotel from Secrets Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica where he was also GM.
Monje has over 20 years experience in the tourism and hospitality industry including an extensive background in finance management, and has worked in more than 12 countries across four continents.
Previous appointments include senior management roles at COMO Hotels and Resorts, Leading Small Hotels of the World and Meliá Hotels, including positions in Bangkok, Bali and Bhutan.
