New Castle appoints Veteran Sales Exec Denise Bradbury to lead Algonquin Sales Team

Officials of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel owner, operator and developer, today announced the appointment of Denise Bradbury to director of sales and marketing for the?Algonquin Resort?in St. Andrews-by-the Sea, New Brunswick, Canada.

Most recently, Bradbury was the director of sales for the New Castle owned and operated, Westin Nova Scotian in Halifax, where she and her team bested the brand average for 2013 Meeting Planner Satisfaction scores and delivered nearly 50 percent of the hotel’s annual room nights and 70 percent of the hotel’s food and beverage revenues.

“Denise has been a tremendous asset to the team at the Nova Scotian, and I’m very pleased that we’re able to continue to offer her, and other deserving associates, opportunities for professional growth and advancement,” said Gerry Chase, New Castle president and CEO. “This is a prestigious assignment in Canadian hospitality, and I’ve no doubt that Denise’s experience selling an historic property has prepared her well for the challenges of selling this beloved Canadian landmark.”

The Algonquin Resort will reopen this spring following an ambitious, roof to floorboard, renovation in excess of $35 million.
