River City Casino will hire 50 to staff new hotel

River City Casino in Lemay will hire more than 50 employees to staff its new 200-room hotel,?1, spokeswoman for the casino, told the St. Louis Business Journal.

Casino officials are hosting a job fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn, 6921 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

Open positions include front desk clerks, guest room attendants, bell attendants, housekeeping and dispatchers, and applicants may apply before the fair?1.

Construction is coming to a close on the hotel, which is scheduled to open in September.

River City?s owner Las-Vegas-based Pinnacle is?1, which includes the hotel, a 14,000-square-foot event center, which will accommodate 1,200 to 1,400 people for shows and 700 to 900 for banquets, and a 1,600-space parking garage that was completed in November.

The $380 million casino, the newest in the St. Louis metro area, opened in March 2010.
