Rudolf Van Dijk named General Manager for Four Seasons Hotel Sydney
Four Seasons?Hotel Sydney has welcomed its fourth ever General Manager,?Rudolf van Dijk.
He joins the hotel following his previous role as General Manager at?Four Seasons?Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake in China, which he successfully opened and managed for four years.
His appointment follows the move of former General Manager Vincent Hoogewijs, who will take up the position of General Manager of?Four Seasons?Hotel Bangkok.
Prior to his tenure in China, van Dijk spent time at?Four Seasons?Hotel Singapore,?Four Seasons?Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi,?Four Seasons?Hotel Bangkok,?Four Seasons?Hotel Shanghai, and?Four Seasons?Hotel New York.
He says: ?As the largest property within?Four Seasons,?this will present a wonderful new challenge. I?m very much looking forward to working with the excellent team here to continue to provide our guests with the highest standards of service.?
An avid cyclist and self-confessed foodie, he admits he can?t wait to start his discoveries in Sydney: ?It?s one of the most exciting cities I?ve been to, with a wonderful sporting and food culture, and of course, the most beautiful harbour in the world.?
