Strebel moves up at Omni

Omni Hotels & Resorts appoints Peter Strebel, a 25-year-plus veteran of the hospitality industry, as chief marketing officer and senior vice president of sales.
Previously, Strebel was the senior vice president of operations for Omni and oversaw the development of brand-wide property standards, guest rooms and other operational areas for the brand?s growing convention collection and resort portfolio.
A long-term Omni veteran, Strebel re-joined Omni in 2009 as area managing director and general manager of the company?s flagship property in midtown Manhattan, the Omni Berkshire Place.
