Summit purchases two properties

Summit Hotel Properties completes the acquisition of the Hampton Inn located in Boston (Norwood), Mass. and the Hotel Indigo located in Asheville, N.C. for an aggregate purchase price of US$59 million.
The 139-room Hampton Inn will be rebranded as a Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton following US$2.3 million?capital improvements.
The 115-room Hotel Indigo will undergo?US$400,000?capital improvements over the next 12.
As of?July 8, Summit?s portfolio consisted of 93 hotels with a total of 11,933 guestrooms.
