Sustainable award for Dusit Thani Dubai

Dusit Thani Dubai has been awarded for the fifth time a Certification by EarthCheck for its high standard of sustainable efforts.
EarthCheck is an internationally recognised environmental management and certification programme designed for the travel and tourism industry.
It helps determine a company’s standard of environmental, social, and economic performance and requires compliance to internationally recognized standards.
To gain EarthCheck Certified status, the hotel was required to submit a year’s worth of operational data to EarthCheck for benchmarking purposes.
Benchmarks include the use of energy-efficient lighting, the minimisation of water consumption, recycling of solid waste products and use of recycled products whenever possible.
