The Dolder Grand appoints new Spa Director
The Dolder Grand?(Zurich) has appointed Therese Martirena as spa director of the award-winning?The Dolder Grand Spa. Martirena will be responsible for overseeing the entire range of services and products offered. She is a Swiss native with an extensive spa background. Martirena completed a commercial apprenticeship at the?Wellness & Spa Hotel Ermitage(Sch?nried, Switzerland).
She later became a qualified massage therapist. She comes to The Dolder Grand Spa with years of experience at award-winning properties, including spa manager at the?Hilton Barcelona Hotel?(Spain). In 2008, the year The Dolder Grand reopened; she took on the role of spa treatment manager.
“I am spa,” says Martirena. “I love this world of peace, beauty, and relaxation, and the holistic approach the individual can take to observing themselves from both inside and out.”
The Dolder Grand Spa offers a range of activities to promote well-being, including an indoor and outdoor Aqua Zone, traditional Japanese Sunaburo, a Meditation Room, a Ladies’ Spa and Gentlemen’s Spa, as well as a large Workout Studio in which personal trainers can be arranged.
