Third Le Méridien opens in Shanghai

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, a part of Marriott International, has opened another hotel in Shanghai at Minhang in the Hongqiao hub of the city.

With the inauguration of new hotel, the 240-room Le Méridien now has three properties at Shanghai. It is also the 34th property in the Marriott International’s Shanghai portfolio.

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts global brand leader Brian Povinelli said: “As the third Le Méridien destination in Shanghai, this hotel is illustrative of the brand’s robust growth in China over the past several years, hitting its stride with guests and locals as well as owners and developers in the region.”
