Thomason named executive chef at Banyan Tree Phuket

Banyan Tree Phuket appoints Ian John Thomason as executive chef.

The winner of TV show ‘Iron Chef Thailand’ was previously executive sous chef at the Sheraton Grand Laguna Luxury Collection Phuket, executive sous chef at the Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel and executive chef at the Luxury Collection, Naka Island, Phuket.

Thomason began his career at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland before cooking in some of London’s most renowned kitchens including The Savoy, where he served as senior sous chef, and at the Sofitel London St. James, where he worked as executive sous fhef under Albert Roux.
